The Patient Account Rep is responsible for processing the patients when they come to see a physician.  They are responsible for collecting co-pays, past due balances, getting medical history from the patient and working A/R.

Qualifications – High School Diploma/GED required. Experience required in one or more of the following areas: patient care, public relations, customer service or other related area.  Previous knowledge of dealing with different types of insurances in a medical setting is preferred.

Work Schedule:  M – F, 7:50 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the possibility of an early morning or late night rotation

Job Description: Supports pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications. Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist. Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs. Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies. Maintains records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions. Generates revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges. Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments. Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications: Certified  Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with MS State Board of Pharmacy

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Description- The Receptionist is responsible for handling calls, entering information into the computer system as it relates to the patients visit, and scheduling appointments.
