    Job Description: Responsible for the administration and management of the day-to-day operations of the ASC. Responsible for managing activities necessary to ensure appropriate utilization of the ASC and its resources. These duties include, but are not limited to the following: planning, organizing, and directing all activities of the ASC according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. Ensures that all local, state, federal, and accrediting body rules and regulations are met.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, business, or healthcare administration
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • ASC experience preferred
    • Possess the knowledge and skills required to manage the financial and professional components of the ASC.

    Job Description: The Durable Medical Equipment Tech performs a variety of tasks including the application of pre-fabricated and custom orthotic devices.

    Position Requirements:

    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
    • Prior orthopaedic or rehab experience preferred
    • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
    • Must be able to complete tasks with a high-degree of efficiency and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent disruptions

    • Must have the ability to work independently while managing time and workload appropriately
    • May need to travel to satellite locations for delivery/retrieval of DME items

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Apply prefabricated and custom orthotic devices ordered by physicians
    • Educate patients about donning, doffing, the use and maintenance of devices
    • Communicate with physician teams and multidisciplinary staff
    • Document patient encounters in detail
    • Maintain and order DME supply inventory
    • Deliver compassionate care to patients and manage protected health information
    • Other duties include but are not limited to the following: policy compliance, record keeping, scheduling, and validating patient eligibility for equipment
    • Retrieval of patients from clinical area to apply DME

    Southern Bone and Joint Specialists, P.A. is looking for a highly motivated LPN for Urgent Care Clinic. Hours of clinic are 12 (noon) to 7 pm.

    Job Description: The LPN will work closely with Medial Staff to ensure that Urgent Care Clinic runs smoothly. They will be responsible for calling patients back to the exam rooms, assisting with procedures, scheduling follow up appointments and/or surgeries, returning phone messages and other duties assigned by physicians/extenders.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
    • Must have great computer skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Would prefer to have someone with at least 2 years of orthopedic experience

    Work Schedule: M-F, Hours of clinic 12 (Noon) to 7p.m.

Must be willing to work flexible hours.

    • Master’s degree in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related
    • Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
    • Requires completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) administered by National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
    • Prior orthopaedic experience in a clinic setting is preferred
